The universal view of 2020 is that it was terrible for business (amongst other things). However, things aren’t as bleak as they seem.
2020 saw almost 85,000 new businesses founded, up 12% from the previous year. We also saw the largest amount of Venture capital funding for businesses in the UK in history. Traditionally, recruiters like to target the biggest and largest clients, but just how much revenue and hiring do these Enterprise businesses contribute to in the UK?
With SMEs making up a larger and larger share of the UK workforce, are they using agencies, and if not, why?
